GW Good Neighbor Video: 300 Trailer Recut

This is one in a series of 30 second TV commercials in the political campaign for Lester Zalewski for Fort Lauderdale City Commission District II. You may have already seen them on news channels like Fox News or MSNBC or one of the entertainment channels. Election day is January 31, 2012. Your vote will count. Have a say in how your tax dollars are spent in your neighborhood. Lester Zalewski’s motto and campaign slogan “Good neighbors make good neighborhoods” applies as much to public safety and recruiting police from the communities they serve as it does to requiring developers landscape empty lots they are holding for development. On Tuesday, January 24th, 2012, the three candidates came before the Tribune Group’s Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel Editorial and Publisher for interview. Prior to the interview the panel posed five questions to the candidates. Here are some extracts from Lester Zalewski’s responses. Some information from the community will be helpful for the City Manager’s strategic planning but at some point in the process a top-down perspective by global thought leadership is needed for anything approaching a 25 year plus analysis and vision.
